Pastor Daphne Urban began serving Aardahl in January 2026. She is an ordained Pastor in the ELCA, and received her MDIV from Luther Seminary in 2022. Previously she received a BS in Meteorology in 2004. She has a passion for Stewardship of God’s Earth, and is deeply tied to caring for all of God’s Creation, and is looking forward to serving the Lord with YOU!! She’s married to Michael and they have three children: Linnea, Jonathan and Evan, and live in the Bemidji area.

Community of Faith

Martin Luther spoke much of the “priesthood of all believers” and by virtue of our baptism we are all ministers. We each come with different gifts to share with our community of faith. We are called to use these gifts as we live out our life of faith and the mission of the church. This congregation is full of people doing ministry in the name of Jesus Christ. We are a congregation that is moving into the future looking for new ways to share God’s love and promise with the community and the world that surrounds us. We give thanks to God for the gifts of each member of our congregation and the many ways these gifts are shared.
